Abstract: The period of primary education is one of the most important stages in children's lives. During this period, students not only acquire knowledge, but also acquire skills necessary for their personal development. Folklore, that is, folk traditions, legends, fairy tales, proverbs and other creative works, play an important role in the personal development of children. This article examines the role and importance of folklore in the development of the student's personality in primary education.
